The first celebrity signature creation will be revealed online May 23. Sundae aficionados can visit www.walmart.com/icecream each Sunday through June 20 to discover the latest star-studded sundae recipe and recreate it at home.
I asked and asked, but couldn’t get a sneaky peak at the celebs. Who might it be? I’m thinking maybe Naomi Judd… she’s a famous celeb mom. I don’t think it will be Jennifer Hudson, she’s a spokesperson for Weight Watchers. They should have had celebrity dads… it’s almost Father’s Day!
FIRST CELEB UPDATE! The first celebrity has been revealed! The celebrity mom is Melissa d’Arabian, mother of four and host of Food Network’s Ten Dollar Dinners. She will be the first of four to reveal her signature creation online May 23 at www.walmart.com/icecream.
Here’s here recipe:
Celebrity Chef Melissa d’Arabian’s Salty Crunchy Caramel Sundae
2 Scoops Breyers® Smooth & Dreamy™ 1/2 the Fat Creamy Caramel Tracks Ice Cream
1/2 Banana, sliced
1 Tbsp chopped pecans
2 Tbsp chopped pretzels
1 Tbsp caramel topping
Top ice cream with banana slices, pecans and crushed pretzels. Drizzle caramel topping to create a lattice design. (Variation: my kids use small stick pretzels to poke into the ice cream and create a head of hair. Fun times.)
