George Clooney: The problem is we elected a manager, and we need a leader… “. We do need a leader and maybe, a manager, but what we particularly do not need is a community organizer for the big job of handling this oil spill.
We need someone with heavy executive experience – we elected a community organizer. All of the Republicans are saying so, and most of the Democrats are thinking so. Major buyer remorse is setting in because
“America is watching the president alternate between wringing his hands in helplessness and pointing his finger in blame when he should be solving the most pressing environmental problem America has faced in the past 50 years..
Some presidents have failed because of their stubbornness (Johnson and Bush-43). Others because of their character flaws (Clinton and Nixon). Still others because of their insensitivity to domestic problems (Bush-41). But now we have a president who is failing because he is incompetent. It is Jimmy Carter all over again…
An activist, involved chief executive would have swept aside these impediments and demanded immediate action. He would have ridden roughshod over bureaucratic and political objections and gotten the cleanup underway.
But this president is no executive. He is a legislator – he is now pushing new environmental legislation. He is a lawyer – his Attorney General is investigating criminal charges against BP. He is a populist – he is quick to blame BP. He is a big spender – he wants a fund to pay the spill’s victims. He is all of these things. But he is no chief executive and that, unfortunately, is the job he was elected to do.By Dick Morris
Back to pretty-boy George Clooney, who is rumored to have a photo of Jimmy Carter in his john, and was originally speaking about George Bush in above quote. That quote is even more apt for Obama than it ever was for Bush, especially Obama’s mishandling of the most catastrophic environmental disaster in America’s history. Hey George, pssst, have you heard? Folks are calling the Bp Oil spill Obama’s-Katrina and the majority think Bush handled Katrina far better than Obama is handling the oil disaster.
Might it be that right about now, Clooney is regretting that long-ago statement ; however, he’s one of the celebrity Democrats who are mum on Obama’s incompetence. Others aren’t so shy.
Recently Rolling Stone, Maureen Dowd, the LA Times, Joan Walsh,Rachel Maddow, Howard Fineman, John Stewart and the NY Times have blasted Obama. And underlying all of the complaints is the realization that Obama is neither a manager, an executive nor a leader. He is a community organizer who fooled a large amount of the people for a short time. Unfortunately, this disaster was a true test of his mettle and Obama isn’t fooling anyone any longer. Got that, Clooney?
Dallas: There are so many incompetent Democrats, Obama isn’t alone. Dallas is full of them. Sigh, we have John Wiley Price. I should give him a call and ask him what he thinks Obama should do. “Cry Racist!” would be John’s solution – this is a man who even calls the scientific term “black hole” racist.
