Faith Case: Investigating the Truth

Gospel Publishing House, headquartered in Springfield Missouri, has created an exciting fun way to teach elementary-aged children about the Bible.
The first series, Faith Case: Investigating the Truth, was filmed in 2009, and is a twelve session video based series that can be used as a program for Sunday School, mid-week program, Vacation Bible School, Saturday event, or other children’s groups. It turns the kids into investigators who join the bumbling Mr. Trench, and capable, no-nonsense Commissioner in the search for Faith Facts. In each session the children get a secret password that lets them watch the session again and again on the Faith Case website. And they do want to watch again because, they say, Mr. Trench & the Commissioner are so funny.
Originally conceived in 2008 by a group of children’s Pastors from around the country and scripted by a GPH in-house writer, the series has been a great success with the target audience. Kids love it. And Julie Horner, project director, states that the performances of the two lead actors, Allen Marsh and Holly McWilliams Muns, “far exceeded their expectations.”

Audition for the second Faith Case series: Faith Case: Fruit of the Spirit.
Now GPH is set to do a 10 session follow-up — Faith Case: Fruit of the Spirit. This series will target the same age group and will cover: Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Dale Gehris of GPH will produce and direct the video and will be using local talent and local media. Holly will reprise her role as the Commissioner but her side kick this time will be a new character — a quirky fruit inspector named Adam Apple. Auditions will be held for this lead male role and for several smaller speaking and non-speaking roles. All parts assigned will be for pay.

Bring your headshot and resumé (if you have them). Auditions will consist of a cold read which will be filmed. The script will be provided. Dress comfortably. The audition itself should only take five minutes. Your wait will depend on the size of the crowd.
