Scooby-Doo, Demi Lovato, SpongeBob SquarePants, Cheetara, and Wubbzy are the stars of the kids television lineups this Monday in Canada. It’s Victoria Day, and to celebrate the holiday long weekend, all the kids channels are packing their lineups with specials, episodes, and premieres.
It’s Spongeodd Squareparents Day on YTV, all day long today— the entire schedule has been cleared for back-to-back-to-back episodes of the two popular series, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly Oddparents. The marathon lineup starts at 7 am ET/PT. At 4 pm ET/PT, Carlos says hello, for The Zone’s premiere of two new SpongeBobs and one new Fairly OddParents episode.
Join characters like Snarf, Cheetara, and Monkian this morning at 7 am, when Teletoon Retro airs another Network premiere episode of Thundercats. The series repeats at 6 pm and midnight.
Wubbzy’s Big Movie, a 60-minute special based on Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! airs at 9 am ET/PT on Treehouse TV. Wubbzy loses his memory and Widget and Walden do everything they can to help him get it back. In an effort to get him to remember who he is the duo recall shared adventures, including looking for pirate treasure, dressing up as spies and changing tails. Widget even builds a “Remember When 3000” machine to help.
Also at 9 am ET/PT, Teletoon itself kicks off the day with Aloha, Scooby Doo!, where the Mystery, Inc. gang must find a missing surfer before a volcano erupts. At 10:40 am ET/PT, the fantastic four plus dog are stuck solving mysteries when they’re on a cruise to the Bermuda triange, in Scooby-Doo in Pirates Ahoy!

Professor Samantha Rhodes’ salvage crew tries to find the lost city of Atlantis, but mutant sea creatures and underwater volcanoes get in their way. Not the most-forgotten Disney film, this movie is news to me. Atlantis: The Movie is on Teletoon, starting at noon ET/PT. Despite being a movie, it’s actually just half-an-hour long.
Four episodes of Johnny Test start at half-past-noon ET/PT, continuing to 2:30 pm.
If it’s 1:30 pm on a Monday: why, it must be a new episode of The Fresh Beat Band on Nickelodeon Canada. Every Monday, this month, like clockwork.
At 4 pm ET/PT on YTV, two of the leads from SpongeBob SquarePants get friendly with notorious schemer Plankton. First, Plankton hires Patrick to develop a slogan for the Chum Bucket in “Chum Bucket Supreme”, and then SpongeBob helps Plankton find a perfect anniversary gift for Karen, his computer wife in “Single Cell Anniversary”.
On The Fairly OddParents, at 5 pm on YTV, Poof has the “Chicken Poofs”, and ends up accidentally turning everyone into the barnyard fowl. In “Stupid Cupid”, Timmy uses Cupid’s arrow to get Trixie to go to the dance with him.
Finally, at 5:30 pm, YTV premieres a second SpongeBob SquarePants episode, featuring Squidward. First, the long-nosed downer gets his own television show in Bikini Bottom, and becomes a star in “Squid TV”. In “I Heart Dancing”, he tries to ruin SpongeBob’s dance audition.
Princess Protection Program airs on Family Channel at 7:30 pm ET/PT, starring Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez.
