What’s the astrological current for the weekend? To start off, the Sun moves into Gemini tonight, May 20th at 9:34 p.m. (all times are in Mountain Time).
There are no exact aspects on Friday. The Moon is in Virgo. Gemini and Virgo both have connection and rulership over the nervous system (both signs ruled by the planet Mercury).
The Moon is very active on Saturday: opposing Jupiter at 5:10 p.m., joining Saturn at 5:15 p.m…and then opposes Uranus at 7:34 p.m. (the Moon moves quickly, changing signs every 2 1/2 days). Completing this high activity, the Moon moves into Libra (balance, relationship, mirroring).
Jupiter and Saturn complete the first of three exact oppositions (the 2nd will be mid-August, the last, Late March 2011).
The weekend ends on Sunday with a difficult aspect between the Moon and Pluto at 5:11 a.m., and opposition between Venus and Pluto at 9:12 p.m.

Because Friday is light on aspects, we should be able to feel the currents of the Jupiter-Saturn opposition (Jupiter in Pisces, Saturn in Virgo: 27 degrees and 53 inches). Jupiter is the planetary energy of expansion and Saturn is the energy of contraction. Jupiter rules truth, adventure, fortune and higher learning. Saturn represents workable systems, healthy boundaries and an ability to take responsibility for the conditions of your life.
Use Friday to honestly assess your goals (ideally, deeper goals, like living an authentic life, being more loving, etc.) and if your day to day life helps move you forward or hampers your progress.
All of the aspects by the Moon on Saturday help further awaken how the daily emotional ques and patterns work to further or hamper our authentic life. Be very mindful on Saturday and feel your emotions without letting them carry you away.
All of this done, Sunday is an opportunity to go deeper. Sunday is a chance to accept the shadow aspects of ourselves and others (those nasty parts, no one wants to admit to or accept).
